Ponds Cold Cream

Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser! (Review)

Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser 9.5ozThe POND’s company has been around for a very long time! (I just happened to be late. Don’t rub it in!) Usually, I would remove my makeup with a makeup remover cloth and then continue to remove my makeup off with a foaming face wash. But since discovering Pond’s Cold Cream, I’ve never turned back.

Pond’s cold cream is a gentle deep cream cleanser and makeup remover. It will remove waterproof mascara and deeply clean the pores of your skin. Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser is Hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser will help rejuvenate your skin.

On days where I wear full coverage makeup, POND’s is my go-to makeup remover. Not only does it remove all of my makeup, but it moisturizes, too! It is NOT a soap. In fact, I’ve actually learned that soap strips your skin of it’s natural moisture. (That explains ALOT. I remember watching my face with certain cleansers and shortly after drying  my face, I felt like i couldn’t even crack a smile. How I remedied this was by putting moisture back into my skin by moisturizing!) However, with POND’s, you do not have to do all of that. Your skin is moisturized RIGHT after each application. This awesome thing about this is that it is suitable for sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic

As a mentioned earlier, this isn’t soap. In fact, It sort of reminds me of lotion! It’s very creamy and has a pleasant aroma. It is thick, yet it melts on to your skin. Do not sleep on this product! It will remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner with little to no effort!

How does it work, you ask? Well, I first start off by pulling my hair back into a ponytail, allowing my face to be fully exposed. Simply because I’m not a fan of my hair getting wet or product in it. Pet peeve. Then I scoop a small portion of the cleansing cream and apply it throughout my face. This includes: around your hairline, underneath your chin and neck. (You’ll be surprised how much makeup and hidden dirt accumulates around your face and neck!) Next, I personally like to leave it on for a little while. Maybe for like 4-5 minutes. Next! Have your facial cloth ready! You’re going to wet it with water; Your preference if you want it to be hot or cold. But just keep in mind that Hot water OPENS our pores and cold water CLOSES our pores. To feel the full intensity of my cleansing application, I would wet my facial cloth with hot water and remove the cream off of my face. As you do this, you will notice how all of your makeup comes off in a snap! After you remove all of your makeup, splash your face with some cold water 🙂

Your face will feel like VELVET. Due to it being so moisturized, you will notice that the little water speckles on your face are being kicked out by your skin. lol! (That’s the best way i can explain it, don’t judge!)
