Natural Smokey Eye feat. Borghese Cosmetics + Review!

Hey loves! Who’s ever tried or purchased Borghese products? For me, this is the first time! I’m super excited to share my thoughts with you all!

First off, this post was long overdue. My apologies, towards the end of November and beginning of December was so rough for me. I was forced to resign my most recent job over pettiness. Ugh! RIGHT Before Thanksgiving, too! I felt like it was low key very strategic…Long story short, people are so miserable. But that’s most definitely for another post. I’ll fill ya’ll in on the tea!

It felt like Christmas came early for me! One day I was minding my own business, preparing to be on my way out to work, then voila! A package arrived for me 🙂 And what a big one it was!

Borghese sent me a cute ol’ care package that consisted of their face primer, eyeshadow palette, two lip glosses, a facial cleanser, an eyeliner and mascara! It was a very pleasing moment. Girl, I done forgot about all of my problems, LOL. I couldn’t wait to come back home and play.

The Look!

In the photo you see above, is a look I created using their eye shadow palette. Super cute!Eclissare Color Eclipse Shadow and Light Luminous Eye Palette 2

Ok. Where do I begin. First off, the colors were VERY soft. I’m so used to extreme color pay off, so it was definitely a bit of an adjustment. This eye shadow palette isn’t as pigmented as I would like for it to be, but If I am looking to create a very soft natural look, I can see me reaching over for this in the future. Afterglow is my favorite color out of the whole palette. Great color for the inner tear-ducts to make the eyes pop!

I wanted to love these lip glosses SO BAD! But they’re a bit sticky for my licking.  However, They look great if you’re going for that ‘wet lid’ look. I was experimenting one day on set and I remember leaving my pigment liquid at home (UGH.) These lip glosses were tacky enough to make my loose pigments adhere to the lid. 3 cheer for creativity! 😀

Borghese FANGO Clay Cleanser

My first impression was ‘omg it smells like clay!’ I haven’t had any complaints about the FANGO Clay cleanser. I didn’t see a dramatic difference in my skin either. It was softer after use but that was about it.

Primo Viso Face Primer

A little goes a VERY long way. This primer can easily make you feel like a grease ball 🙁 I wouldn’t recommend this for oily gals. Great for winter if you’re wearing matte foundation. But if you have dry skin, I can see this being someone’s holy grail.

State of the Art Mascara + Eyeliner

The mascara was nice but it didnt do anything spectacular for my lashes. However, THE EYELINER!? Was the girl! I glides so smoothly and stays put. Its a nice rich intense black. Almost reminded me of UD’s 24/7 Eye liner pencils.
