Haul: Mini Review!

Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation: Yo, this foundation can cover a murder. VERY full coverage. I’m in school from 9am to 6pm so one morning i decided to wear it just to try for the first time around. It melted on to my skin like butter. I’m actually impressed by Maybelline. They’ve outdone themselves with this one! I got the shade Coconut 95 which is too dark for me so I used it to contour instead and it was lovely 🙂

Milani 2-in-1 Foundation: This is another one that felt like butter on my skin. I found that it didn’t last much on me though. I started getting oily through out the day and I felt like the foundation was sitting on top of my skin. The coverage is build able though. Maybe i’ll use a mattifying primer next time I use this to see how it holds up.

IMAN Cream to Powder Foundation: This foundation has a beautiful coverage but be careful when applying it. If you set this with a powder, it can feel cakey and make your pores bigger than they need to be due to it being silicone/cream based. So it’s like you’re caking it on. Put your regular foundation on, then pat this one on after.

IMAN Press Powder: This powder is very nice however I felt like it doesn’t give me the ‘snatched’ look that I’m going for. It was full coverage, but after a while, I just felt like it separated on my face. Granted it’s a blotting powder but I expected more from this product being that it was up there in price for a drugstore brand.

Revlon Blush Brush: Although on the packaging it did say this was a blush brush. However, I love to test for multifunction and this brush is NOT  for cream/liquid products. It shed like a dog! I put a few drops of cream foundation on it and i had black whiskers all over my face. Nope. Save your money. Wasn’t worth the $15 i paid. I’ll keep it until all the bristles fall off (which won’t be long.)
