Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Wash ($30)
Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Wash promises to help bring harmony to tired minds. Who doesn’t love a soothing shower? With an inviting description like that, It’s only right I put it to the test and challenge that theory! 😉
Blended with rich and claming Ylang-ylang perfume oil, Yuan zhi extract, and deep and warm cedarwood oil.
It smells nice, and the packaging looks really luxurious! I was to excited to open it and start pouring it on my loofa. As i started working it on to my skin, it barely lathered. So I poured some more on my loofa…I used 1/8th of it in just ONE wash! Yeah, I doubt this product would last a good month in my bathroom. However, It sort of reminded me of dish soap. Sorry guys :o: I wanted to like it so bad! The consistency felt like regular liquid soap.
I didn’t find anything significant about it! I was disappointed in how basic the Ylang-Ylang Body Wash was! I had high hopes considering the fact that I liked their Heavenly Gingerlily Body Polisher. My rating is simply because of how much I liked the short lived scent. Immediately upon contact with water the scent dissipates. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a nice soothing bath or shower. This product retails for $30 (So not worth it in my opinion). I ended up washing my makeup brushes with it. My $5 Dove Body Wash puts this to shame.
