Molton Brown: Coco & Sandalwood + Honeysuckle & White Tea Body Lotion

The heat has been brutal in New York these past few weeks. I know you guys see those heat advisory warnings! I’ve been trying plenty of new products to keep my skin hydrated. Read below for my initial reaction and final review on these two Molton Brown lotions!

Molton Brown Body Lotions

Molton Brown Coco and Sandalwood Nourishing Body Lotion • $42

Molton Brown Coco and Sandalwood Nourishing Body Lotion

A comforting body lotion, blended with creamy coconut, jasmine and sandalwood for a relaxing, tropical aroma.

The coco & sandalwood absorbed into my skin very quickly. The consistency is very light! I’m used to using heavy lotions so this definitely took some time getting used to. Perfect for those blazing heatwaves we’ve been having in New York lately. Lastly, It leaves behind a subtle sheen on my skin.

Molton Brown Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea Body Lotion • $42

Molton Brown Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea Body Lotion

A comforting and hydrating body lotion fragranced with intoxicating honeysuckle, white tea leaf and creamy heliotrope.

The Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea’s scent is more prominent than the Coco & Sandalwood. The notes are definitely more stronger. It makes my skin look subtle and soft to the touch. A little goes a long way (sort of) considering that it’s far from thick and melts right onto your skin

Overall Rating

Initially judging from my last experience with their Body Wash, I thought both of these lotions were going to leave me feeling dry as a leaf on a New York street, but I’m impressed that they didn’t. The both of these lotions have shea butter and castor oil in their ingredients so it all makes sense as to how good they lock in moisture without feeling thick or overbearing. I’m giving it 4 stars. Might be a little pricey for your average college student on a budget….Both of these are very nice lotions! Due to them being on the pricier side, I wouldn’t wear them every day. Only on special occasions where I would want to layer my scents 🙂 They hold on very well when it comes to fragrance!

  • Shea butter and caster oil are good for the skin, they leave the skin smooth. I am sure I’d love the smell of coco&sandalwood, well who wouldn’t like coconut smell 🙂

    • Yes! I love shea butter and castor oil (great for hot oil treatments too!).

I actually reach for the coco & sandalwood more frequently than I do the honeysuckle and white tea! It smells very nice! light and perfect for summer.

  • I’m amazed at how much more expensive Molton Brown are in the states! These would be around £20 ($26) over here! Yet another brand who hike up the prices in different countries.
