Natural Hair: My Current Obsessions ♥

Natural Hair Products That I Use Dec2014

Being natural, I’m consistently being asked what my hair care regime is! There are so many different products out there on the market geared towards natural hair so I can definitely understand.

Since it’s getting a bit cold outside, I make sure to moisturize my hair regularly. I know that moisture is key! Though I use, and incorporate various products, the items above are what I mainly use whenever I’m doing my hair 🙂 I reach for these items the most, and they have not disappointed me at all! I’ll go into further detail of each individual product shown in the photo above, just keep scrolling!

Because I’m always on the go, I love rocking a fresh wash-n-go style. During the week I would co-wash, and just rock 2nd,3rd, and 4th day hair if my curls cooperate for THAT long. I’ve been rocking my natural hair since July of 2011! That was when I big chopped. So in total, I’ve been natural for 3, going on 4 years.

 * I purchased all of the above mentioned products with my own money.

  • OMG! I freaking love Cantu! lol I’ve never used the deep treatment before, but I may have to look into it. And I’ve always wanted to use Curls products but I’ve always been so cautious. (I didn’t want to spend the money to find out it doesn’t work.) But I have been hearing a lot of good reviews about them, so I’ll have to give it a try.

But hey quick question, how do you know what your actual hair type is? (I’m gonna need to learn that since I need to get rid of these split ends lol)

    • I love my cantu hair masque! I have yet to try their shampoo, but I’m so hooked on the Eden Shampoo lol.
& YES, GIRL! Curls is the bomb! It leaves my hair so soft – It’s definitely worth the expense. It’s also cheaper at target, and walgreens also has sales on the CURLS brand from time to time.

I have multi textured hair, the front curls are more loser then the back and thats why i identify my hair type as 3a/4a
Here is the link on finding out your hair type! CURLS defined this number system easy for me!
