Quick & Natural: Everyday Makeup ♥

Hey dolls! I’m pretty sure you all can relate to being on the go and not having much time to get fully glam’d up as much as you would like! Because of this, You have your go-to makeup products that you use. These products execute a look that is appropriate for both work, school and just hanging out!  Being a college student, having a job, and trying to maintain a healthy social life, is a little tricky. Because of this, I find myself reaching for what I like to call my ‘key essentials’. I’m always getting asked what I use on my face on the daily, so I figured I share that with ya’ll! Now, I know A LOT of ladies love to skip steps and they avoid using numerous products on their face. I’m not one of those people. If I want to look exceptionally decent, I will give myself a good 25-35 minutes to get ready. So I am fully aware if my list might be slightly overwhelming for some folks, but so what!  Live a little! =P

I mentioned on the list, that lashes are most definitely optional, but if you would like to incorporate some lashes into your everyday natural makeup routine, I would highly recommend the following brands: Ardell, Red Cherry, Creme. Miss Adoro & Kiss. I like to stick to drugstore foundations for my everyday natural look because I rather wear my expensive foundations like Chanel or Armani for special occasions. Most of the time I’m out and about running errands, and I don’t need to be wasting my precious $60 foundation.  In addition, my Revlon ColorStay foundation takes on the role as a phenomenal dupe for MAC’s Studio Finish Foundation. Scroll below for my FOTD (Face of The Day) using all that was mentioned above.

How about you? What is your everyday makeup routine? See any products that look familiar? 😉 Let me know and lets discuss it below! I might end up learning something new from you all, and vice versa!

  • One day I’m going to take the time to go into Walgreens and actually figure out my shade in Revlon’s Color Stay foundation because a lot of Black women say that it’s a quality foundation. MAC’s Fix Fluid foundation is a staple for me these days. I had given up hope for drugstore foundations, but the way you’ve applied yours looks gorgeous! My everyday makeup mostly focuses on foundation, sometimes blush, mascara, and of course, eyebrows.

    • OMG! GIRL – YES! PLEASE DO DREA! You won’t regret it. Stuff is amazing! I haven’t bought a high end foundation in over a year because I’ve been THAT content with my 11 dollar drugstore foundation. The longevity is to die for.
