Proganix QUENCH Collection ♥

Dry hair ain’t cute!

I think we can all agree that moisture is essential when it comes to taking care of our hair. Last winter, my hair was going through some crazy changes due to the harsh weather. My ends were breaking off like it was nobodies business. But it was my fault, I wasn’t moisturizing as much as I should’ve been. Why? I was almost never home due to my hectic schedule. OH! And lets not forget about the acidic rain and harsh cold dry air. Since then, all I’ve been rocking was braids. So much so, that I vowed to myself to always wear protective styles as soon as the weather started started getting cold. Keeping my hair moisturized was my absolute focal point. Today I present to you the Proganix’s QUENCH collection!

Quench Moisture Balm

Proganix QUENCH Collection

Transform your dry, parched hair into hydrated, silky perfection with this unique supercharged blend with hydrating coconut water, power-packed with electrolytes and lightweight coconut oil.

Quench Collection

I recently took my braids out. During the course of me letting my hair breathe..I washed, conditioned and styled using the following products.

Proganix Quench Shampoo

Shampoo

First off, this smells amazing. Even though I’m not that crazy about coconut, this collection smells yummy. Although they advise you to use a generous amount, a little goes a very long way, so you probably don’t have to. When squeezing the product on to your hands, you’ll notice that it’s creamy and has a smooth milky consistency. I was slightly surprised to see how it lathered as much as it did. As I massaged the shampoo into my scalp, I couldn’t help but notice how manageable and comb through my hair was! My curls were all springy and defined. My hair felt like it was being fire spat tiny moisture bombs! I have to admit, it’s been a while since my tresses felt that soft and manageable. I know a lot of this is due to coconut water and coconut oil being the two main concentrated ingredients! It also has aloe leaf juice! Hands down, I’m loving Proganix Quench Shampoo.

Proganix Quench Conditioner

Conditioner

Normally with conditioners they feel very slippery. With this one, I didn’t get much of that slippery vibe. However, I DID feel an intense amount of moisture blessing my stands. This conditioner had the consistency of a lotion. I left it in for about 8-10 minutes. By the time I rinsed it out, my hair was completely come through. COMPLETELY. My hair felt like I did a hot oil treatment AND deep conditioning treatment. Lol! I’m completely sold on Proganix Quench Conditioner.

Quench Moisture Balm

 Moisture Balm

Light consistency but still contains a high level of moisture. I styled my twist out using this! While I was sectioning my hair and getting ready to start doing  a twist, I used half a pump and massaged it from my scalp to my ends. The next morning, my twist out ended up turning out very neat due to the moisture being sealed in. I can see this being one of my staples. Again, a little goes a long way! It didn’t weigh my hair down. This is a big plus for me because I absolutely despise products that weight my hair down! Lastly, it’s not sticky or greasy!!! I’m really liking the Quench Moisture Balm.

Proganix Quench 2

 Leave-In Moisture + Nourish

I like this as a quick moisture refresher! I actually keep this in my purse. It works out because if I have a busy week and I’m not able to moisturize or grease my scalp as often as I need to, I just lightly spritz Proganix Leave-In Moisture + Nourish spray and I’m set to go! I like it because it’s light weight and it doesn’t feel greasy. Feels crisp on the scalp too! Especially on hot summer days.

Overall, I feel as though Proganix really held their end of the bargain and made me feel as though I experienced a full salon experience within the comfort of my own bathroom! LOL. I can definitely see me purchasing these items in the near future once I run out.
